Payment
Dr. Gandy does not accept any form of insurance and is strictly a “fee-for-service” provider.
Adult, Child, and Adolescent psychiatric care:
Initial consultations are $325 and all follow-ups are $150/visit. (Please note that our point-of-sale software does apply a transaction fee)
Forensic Psychiatric services:
Please contact Dr. Gandy for further information regarding forensic services and rates
Superbill/Receipt
Our office provides a superbill (medical receipt) you may submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that Medicare and Medicaid do not reimburse for services rendered by non-enrolled providers, and submitting such claims for reimbursement is prohibited.
NOTE: Reimbursements vary depending on the plan and/or insurance company you use. Clients are encouraged to contact their insurance carrier to inquire about reimbursement rates for Dr. Gandy’s services as an “out-of-network” provider.
Palmetto Psychiatric Services does not provide assistance in contacting insurance carriers on clients’ behalf.
